Mr JazziQ Ft Thesiix, Shazz RSA, Don Deeya & Magwe ZA – “Katalia” is a South African Amapiano collaboration that brings together Mr JazziQ and several artists from the newer Bujwa movement.
The song explores the connection between music, street culture and South Africa’s stance-car scene. “Katalia” refers not only to a woman who is known and loved in the streets, but also to a standout modified car within stance culture.
Musically, the track is built around Bujwa, an Amapiano subgenre associated with Thesiix. The song also draws inspiration from the melody of “Macarena” by Los Del Rio, which Don Deeya reinterpreted through a South African musical context.
“Katalia” is being released through ONErpm, with the release listed for September 17, 2026. Qobuz lists the track under Mr JazziQ & Thesiix and gives it a duration of 6:38.
