“Phone Yam” appears as track number 5 on the album and runs for approximately 7 minutes and 59 seconds. The song is officially credited to Baby S.O.N, Nvcho and Stixx, with the three artists sharing the track’s creative identity.

The title “Phone Yam” translates to “My Phone,” giving the track a modern and relatable theme. The phone has become an important part of communication and relationships, making the title easy for listeners to connect with.

Musically, “Phone Yam” sits firmly within the contemporary Amapiano sound. Beatport lists the track at 113 BPM in B minor, giving it a steady rhythmic foundation while allowing the extended arrangement to develop gradually.

The collaboration brings together three artists with complementary roles. Baby S.O.N leads the record, Nvcho contributes to the performance, while Stixx is also part of the main artist lineup and production of the track. Qobuz credits Phelela Mathonsi, Unathi Jafta Mzimkhulu and Samuel Seloane among the song’s authors/composers.

“Phone Yam” also represents an important connection between Baby S.O.N’s earlier 2026 single releases and Heartbreak & Logdrums. After its initial single release, the song became part of the 15-track album released in September 2026.

For fans of modern South African Amapiano, “Phone Yam” by Baby S.O.N, Nvcho & Stixx offers a long-form collaboration built around melodic vocals, rhythmic production and a relatable title.
